Greedy Growers Beginner Guide — Oak to Millions

Greedy Growers is a greed-management farming game: every extra second your tree grows is more money — until lightning erases the bet. This guide walks the proven early-game path from your free Oak Seed to a stable million-dollar farm.

1. Learn the core loop first

Every run follows the same four beats, straight from the official description:

1. Buy a seed from the river. Seeds ride a conveyor belt on the river. Oak Seeds are free; everything else costs cash.
2. Plant it in your plot. Walk it back to one of your planting spots.
3. Watch your tree grow. Taller trees mean bigger payouts.
4. Harvest before lightning strikes. Sell while you are ahead — that is the whole game.

Servers hold only 4 players, so runs are quick and personal.

2. Spend your first cash on Pine, then Apple

Your free Oak tree funds your first Pine Seed ($25). Chain a few Pines, then move to Apple ($200), Peach ($350) and Fig ($500) — the three Rare seeds. Do not skip tiers: each step roughly pays for the next within a couple of harvests.

3. Watch the timer board at 5-minute marks

Legendary and Mythic seeds (Cherry $2.50M → Dragon Fruit $7B) are guaranteed to spawn every five minutes. Keep an eye on the timer board by the river and have about twice the price saved before the window opens. Divine seeds (Diamond $1Qi, Void $1.75Qi) spawn on a 1-in-1,000 chance with a server-wide announcement — if you hear it, drop everything.

4. Harvest timing: greed in practice

• The longer a tree stands, the more it pays — but a strike can end the run.
• If lightning hits anyway, you are not always wiped: struck fruit can come out Shocked (x2.5) or Charged (x7.5).
• A Turtle pet gives a small chance to negate one strike during growth — the best insurance for deep-timing harvests.

5. Weather events are money multipliers

Fruit mutations multiply value: Dewy x2 (Misty), Radioactive x5 (Acid Rain), Golden x25 (Rainbow) and Cosmic x100 (Meteor Shower). When weather rolls: keep plots planted, and equip a Dog pet to raise mutation odds.

6. Earn Tickets at the Farmers Market

Tickets buy pet eggs (100–2,000 Tickets). Earn them at the Farmers Market NPC by delivering the fruits it asks for — offers refresh every 24 hours and pay up to 200 Tickets per set, with mutated high-rarity fruit paying best. 7. Rebirth without losing seeds

Rebirthing resets progress for long-term gains but wipes seeds from your inventory. Plant everything before you rebirth so nothing rots in your bag.
